Shutter Module

The shutter module is designed for stock tanks with hopper bottom and plays a crucial role in both fuel loading and system maintenance. Installed between the hopper-bottom storage unit and the extraction system, it provides full control over the fuel flow, improving safety and simplifying service operations.

By closing the shutter completely, the extraction system can be serviced independently from the stock tank, preventing accidental fuel discharge during maintenance. The module also reduces the pressure exerted by the stored fuel on the extraction box. To avoid the formation of the “cave effect”, it must be opened partially or fully before starting the system, ensuring a steady and uniform fuel descent.

Constructed in strong galvanised steel sheet, the shutter module is built for long-term durability and reliable operation in demanding technical environments. It is fully compatible with the Vacu Matic system and the double pipe inlet, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of biomass installations.
