Branching the system and respecting the airflow direction
| To create multiple vacuum inlets, the main line must be split using 45° FF or MF wyes. This operation allows horizontal distribution on the same floor or the creation of vertical risers to serve multiple levels. |  |
| In multi-storey buildings, you can either develop a single vertical riser with horizontal branches on each floor (A), or create multiple lines joined into a single collector at the central vacuum unit (B). The number of wyes required is always one less than the number of inlets (e.g. 5 inlets = 4 wyes). |  |
