Zinc coated steel extension

Zinc coated steel extension to give the tubing network properties of solidity and electrical conductivity in all contexts where these represent in essential requirement for the proper implementation of the system.

When it is necessary to implement the central vacuum system in special situations, Sistem Air has a complete line of metal piping and fittings.
The pipes and fittings are made of zinc coated steel, with thicknesses to ensure solidity of the assembled pipework without excessive weight in the case of anchoring to overhead structures.

The use of metal fittings is necessary in the following cases:

• Suction of easily flammable or explosive metals, which inside the piping could explode due to the sparks generated by the accumulation of static charge formed as air passes through the PVC pipes;
• Suction of incandescent materials, which could puncture the plastic pipe once they have been sucked in;
• Suction of abrasive materials, capable of eroding plastic piping, especially in bends;
• Exposed piping, where there is a need to prevent environmental dust attracted by the static charges present from settling on the outer walls of the piping.

Steel bends are available in diameters:

– Ø 50/60 mm
– Ø 60/80 mm
– Ø 80/100 mm

The steel installation material is available in diameters 50/60/80/100 mm, with the appropriate adapters to switch from one size to the other, so that in multi-user system each pipe section can be made with the appropriate diameter to allow for a flow of air capable of meeting the planned simultaneous use requirement.
